Fitness During Pregnancy

Working out definitely helped me before and during my entire pregnancy. After working with Matt for several months, I felt I was in very good shape before getting pregnant. During the pregnancy, my workouts helped with fatigue and body aches. Matt tailored the sessions to meet different needs as time went on, helping me reduce the stress on my back, for example.Even at the very end, people noticed my energy, and I did not have trouble getting around:when it was hard to rise out of a chair, for example, I would just use my biceps or quads to lift myself.One massage therapist even commented that my trainer must be very good because my body did not show any signs of normal wear and tear from pregnancy. I felt great about that, especially since I am an older first time mom, and expected this pregnancy to be more difficult because of that. To my surprise, it went smoothly, and I think good coaching on how to stay active really helped that. I would definitely recommend this approach!
